Watershed Vol. I & II
Rob Mazurek
Fall 2021 & Spring 2022
“Thinking in terms of rising, of loss, of transcendence… this desert that wasonce the bottom of the ocean… the water that once lived here long gone… the catastrophic past astronomical global pummeling present warming affecting us all. The possibilities of other life forms discovering this planet, this water. The oceans, the seas, the rivers moving upwards and outwards away from here leaving nothing but this wasteland/wonderland of rock and sand. The astropocene, this new space. Where are we, where are we going… questions asked since times beginning. Watershed is a poem to all things lost and rising, moving outwards to some unknown… perhaps transcending time and space…moving towards some other unique destination never to be understood.”
